Research Areas

Dr. Angel is a psychiatric nurse who holds a PhD in Criminology and Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Her doctoral dissertation was an experimental analysis of post-traumatic stress symptoms in crime victims who had met their offenders face-to-face in a restorative justice conference. Her research has focused on restorative justice, victimology, post-traumatic stress, and mental health.

Current Projects

Dr. Angel is currently working on restorative justice in the United Kingdom.
